For college graduates,career is an significant choice in life,employment is an importantstep to the society. With the constant improvement of China’s market economy and thedeepening of the reform of education,higher education has achieved popularity. Collegegraduates’ methods of employment which is called “two way choice of their own jobs” havebeen accepted by the society due to the fact that the number of graduates are increasing sothat there is much supply than demand left,which makes the employment of collegegraduates issues become increasingly prominent. The majority of college graduates bearheavy employment pressure. Under tremendous pressure,university graduates have a lot ofcomplex psychological problems due to employment.This paper conducted a survey and analysis of the psychological problems of universitygraduates by taking a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The resultsshowed that students’ mental quality of the overall level is worrying. Quite a lot students inthe four years of college life did not exercise their own psychological qualities,which is animportant reason of a variety of psychological problems when they seek jobs. In the influenceof social environment,education system,families and themselves factors in the process ofemployment of college graduates,psychological problems emerge such as inferiority,aloof,anxiety,jealousy,cowardice,comparisons,contradictions,vanity and apathy and so on. Thispaper describes a concrete manifestation of the psychological problems of the universitygraduates,and points out the main aspects of these problems which give rise to the adverseimpact of employment.This paper elaborates on the reasons for university graduates employment psychologicalproblems,mainly in four areas: first,the social and environmental factors,including that theoversupply of labor markets exists for a long time,the career channel is not smooth,the laborsupply and demand information is difficult to fit,the employers exist the attitudes ofdiscrimination and empiricism,the impact of unhealthy trends in society and the absence ofgovernment employment service functions and so on; second,education institutional factors,mainly there are significant differences in professional settings and the needs of the market,the backward of quality of education and employment guidance; third,family factors, parental expectations and professional orientation,and other factors to some extent,cause thepressure to university graduates; fourth,there is a deviation in personal factors,universitygraduates evaluation,while university graduates are vulnerable to the emotional,academic,interpersonal factors, and their value orientation also affected the employment ofpsychological. Many factors doping together contribute to the generation of employment ofcollege graduates psychological problems.Cause analysis on the basis of this paper these four reasons,mitigation measures of thepsychological problems of employment of college graduates were proposed. To proposespecific measures,the article introduces several foreign occupation theory,put forward somerecommendations on employment combined with vocational theory. This article discusses thefive aspects of countermeasures to solve the psychological problems of employment ofcollege graduates. First, schools must carry out three-dimensional type of career guidance;followed by the implementation of dynamic psychotherapy mechanism; again,strengthen theuse of psychological tools; fourth,parents actively participate in psychological counseling;last but not least,college graduates continue to self-psychological adjustment.The employment of university graduates is a serious social problem,and their mentalhealth is more worthy of concern to the society. Finding a new method to solve theemployment problem,building a scientific and rational employment of college studentsmental health education system,paying attention to students’ mental guidance to help collegestudents adjustment of employment psychological and correcting concept of employment,realizing successful employment is of great significance for promoting steady employmentand the healthy development of national education.
