The Research Of The Evaluation Of Teaching Quality In Colleges And Universities Based On SPC And Bootstrap Methods

Teaching quality is fundamental for the survival and capital of competition, reflects the vitalityof colleges and universities. The scientific and objective and fair evaluation on the teaching qualityhas become an important work.Statistical process technology is the guarantee of the precautionaryprinciple and modern quality control of implementation process control.Its applications have beenextended from manufacturing to service. Higher education is an educational service, by improvingteaching quality for meeting the needs of the students. Statistical process control techniques for theevaluation of teaching quality, is a meaningful and advanced topics.In this paper, teaching quality evaluation of the relevant information of domstic and abroad isreviewed on, students’ evaluation of teaching is scientific, feasible and effective. Through the casestudy method, traditional statistical process control (SPC) technology in the evaluation of teachingquality is studied, and a comparison of the control chart to Shewhart as the representative of thetraditional statistical process control technology in the processing of the small sample situation ofinsufficient, combining the teaching characteristic, put forward the Bootstrap method,it does notneed other the assumption and add a new hypothesis, a small amount of sample simulation largesample to statistic estimation.Finally through the SPC and Bootstrap methods applied the evaluationof teaching quality in college, the existing evaluation system from the analysis of the results toprocess control, timely detection of defects and deficiencies of teaching process in Colleges anduniversities, take reasonable measures to improve teaching quality, improve customer(student)satisfaction degree.
