At present, university students’ comprehensive quality has been paid more andmore attention to, to this, scientific evaluation system is important and necessary. However, the present evaluation system, which computes students`weighted averageresults, has already not adapted to the need of society. Therefore, how to establish ascientific evaluation system becomes an urgent problem to be solved in comprehensivequality education process. This paper adopts the model of multivariate statistics for college students’integrated qualities assessment, mainly uses principal component analysis, factoranalysis, and cluster analysis.Under the principle of losing the least information, themodel reduces the number of dimensions and raises the efficiency. In addition, theauthor puts forward two improved methods for principal component analysis, andcompares them with the traditional PCA. Combining the current university curricula andstudent`s activities, the author divides students’ comprehensive qualities into9indexes,and uses the model, SPSS and MATLAB software, turn the9indexes into newlycomprehensive ones, finds a few principal components and make schools andcompanies learn more important aspects of students in quality and ability. Itovercomesthe shortcomings of weighted average queue malpractice of the traditional assessmentsystem and it can give the comprehensive evaluation of students’ comprehensivequalities.
