In August,2004, the CPC Central Committee and the Slate Council mentioned in Opinions about Further Strengthening and Improvement of College Students’ Ideological and Political Education that college students are the hope and the future of the nation. They are also valuable resources, one of the important tasks and challenges is College students’ideological and political education. Thus the importance of the ideological and political education can be perceived.In the new situation, there are still some problems in college students’ideological and moral qualities and behaviors. Thus we should make correct analysis of the problems of college students’ ideological and moral qualities and take the solution strategies into account, so as to make it grow more healthily. Most of the students entering the college after September in2008and are born after1990, so college ideological education workers should pay attention to the ideological and moral education of post-90s students.The basis of national education caree is the normal education. Normal education shoulders the irreplaceable historical mission in rejuvenating the nation through science and education, improving the quality of the whole nation and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Students’ ideological and political education work in Normal colleges and universities is of great significance and plays a decisive role in enhancing teachers’moral quality level and teachers’comprehensive quality level. Good ethics of teachers will promote the cultivation of the next generation and the social morality, and improve the socialist cultural and ethical progress.This paper analysizes the current situation of the post-90normal college students’ ideological and moral quality and summarizes the problems existing in college students’ideological and moral qualities and behaviors, based on the survey combined with reference to the relevant papers. The problems can be summarized into the following aspects:the students are aggressive but have utilitarian political orientation; they have the actualized value judgment; their moral behaviors don’t conform with their cognition; they need to increase their humanistic knowledge; their moral psychology is not mature enough. In terms of these problems, this paper discusses the causes leading to problems in post-90s normal college students’Ideological and moral quality from four aspects, namely, school factor, family factor, social factor and personal factor. It also make a positive probe into finding effective methods to improve post-90s normal college students’ ideological and moral qualities.The methods are as follows:in terms of school education aspects:to bulid a harmonious relationship between teachers and students; to make full use of class teaching; to construct rich and colorful campus culture; to give full play to the importance of the Party and League organizations; To explore methods of college students’ psychological health education; to strengthen the team construction and implement educational engineering; to strengthen the morality education; to establish advanced models among the post-90s students. In terms of family education aspects:to understand children’s psychological characteristics; to respect children’s personality development; to cultivate children’s sound personality. In terms of social education aspects:to purify the social environment beneficail to college students; to constructing public environment beneficial to the college students’ ideological and moral construction; to try to solve the practical problems of the college students; to actively carry out social activities of youth volunteers and activities in rural areas; to strengthen the exploration of effctive methods in college students’network moral education. In terms of constructing mechanism aspects:to construct a good ideological and moral quality education system; to enhance college students’ ideological and moral quality education management system level; to strengthen college students’ ideological and moral quality education evaluation system.
