This topic is the investigation of current situation of senior middle school biologyteaching. Anshan city, subject to eight secondary schools: a case study on the teachingof senior middle school biology teaching.Teaching present situation survey main questionnaire, supplemented by interviewsand teacher came into the classroom to observe the teaching process. Anshan in eightrandomly selected in my school has4classes, focusing on class2, regular class2,carried out a questionnaire survey. On students ’ learning of biological interest,motivation, and attitude survey, questionnaire issued205, recovery and effectivequestionnaire205, effective recovery100%. On the statistical analysis of the results ofthe survey show that:1, students higher levels of biological interest,41.4%students liketo learn biology, also focus on36.7%of students expressed willingness to biology asseparate subjects to participate in the college entrance examination, students in regularclasses with37.5%expressed their readiness to accept.2, students learn the motivesabundantly clear,63.9%of students of study driven by pressure of college entranceexamination, it seems that the pressures of college entrance examination is thebiological study of current students ’ main motivations.3, most of the students do nothave to develop good study habits, did not have the correct approach to learning,students learn all aspects of futile, lack of enthusiasm for learning and motivation,biology study in a passive state, approximately51.8%students mainly by processing alarge number of exercises to learn biology.During the interview and demonstration teaching of part of the biology teacher inthe process, I found that there are the following problems,1, teaching old, overemphasison the transfer, ignoring the subjective initiative of students play.2, the basic training ofteachers is not solid, lack of attraction in classroom, student learning and uninteresting.3, the difficulties of teaching goals are not clear, are not prominent, of lack of logical,structured classroom teaching.4lack of new ideas, teaching design, lack of teachingcontent and actual contact, lack of divergent thinking expansion. Excessive pursuit ofform5, classroom teaching, and teaching behavior of flashy, neglected the developmentof students ’ basic skills.6, excessive emphasis on modernization of teaching-aid device used on traditional educational means abstemious of use of ink.Investigation and analysis on the basis of, against the status, following educationand teaching suggestions:1, science teaching goals;2, select appropriate teachingstrategies;3, reorganization of teaching content, individualized;4, carry out inquiryteaching.
