Minority nationalities play virtually essential roles in promoting local economic development and social stability as well, therefore, it is of great significance to attach great importance on this issue. In effect, although the minority education has improved greatly, there still exist such problems in the field as the contradiction between educational demands and supplies, investment, backwardness of educational notions, the incompleteness of educational systems, construction of teaching faculty, irrational education structure and the imbalance of compulsory education development, which are, to some extent, impossible to solve instantly. Therefore, it is of great priority to tackle the issue step by step, particularly according to its hierarchy of urgency.In accordance to the current situation, it is important to achieve balance in compulsory education in nationality areas because the failure of it may have a deep impact on the country, like the nation’s minority policy-making, societal fairness, the socially harmonious stability and economic development, which, therefore, calls for immediate attention and settlement. The paper, based on the investigation carried out in three counties in Guangxi Autonomous Region, particularly the urban-rural comparison of compulsory education, in terms of infrastructure, teaching faculty, students’quality and educational expenses, is to point out the imbalance of urban-rural compulsory education.Considering the importance of nationality in the fields of national union, societal equality, to solve the imbalance development in the area enjoys great priority. By means of interview, literature study, statistics comparison and case study, the reason of the imbalance is to be checked out in areas like regional economic development, educational systems, educational structure, ideology, traditional agriculture development and natural environment, etc.Following the scientific way of putting forward, analyzing and solution question, the paper comes up with some strategies of certain originality, including primary legislation, financial support, management of teachers, appliances of modern teaching technology, reconstruction of dangerous school building in conjunction with monitoring of the development of rural boarding-school development, all of which are certain to function practically in the balance development of compulsory education in minority areas.
