Secondary Vocational School Students’ Associations In Project Management

Secondary vocational school students ’ associations are voluntary massorganizations based on students ’ common interests and hobbies, and they areimportant and effective for the implementation of quality education. With our countryattaching more importance to the vocational education and the reform ofsecondary vocational education deepening, students ’ associations, as the new blood ofthe construction of campus culture, play an unprecedented role in education andtraining. They not only meet the needs of students’ physical and mental development,but also play an important part in employment. Embodying the spirit andeducational philosophy of the school, they will become new carriers of moral andquality education. It is an important issue in the new era how to more scientificallyand effectively promote the healthy development of a harmonious campus through theconstruction of students’ associations, which will produce positive impact on studentsand be vital to students’ growth.We need innovation in the system and management mode to solve the problemsof how to rearrange in secondary vocational schools existing human, material andfinancial resources to achieve maximum benefits, of how to strengthen students’associations in competitive power and how to ensure that the activities of studentorganizations are able to be sustained. Through fieldwork and questionnaireinvestigation of part of secondary vocational school students, this article makes asummarized analysis of the management mode of the associations and objectivelyanalyzes the existing problems and causes. Meanwhile, according to the research onthe project management theory, basing the article on the knowledge of projectmanagement and the problems existing in students’ associations, the author introducesthe theory into the activity management of the associations. The author makes atheoretical and practical analysis and research of the management and operationalmode of the associations in Shenyang Tourism School, and also analyzes andsummarizes the problems appearing in the operation process.The project of thestudents ’ associations of Shenyang Tourism School,as an example of exploring the project management, is to pursue the project management, determine the anticipatedtarget of the project, and establish the plan of project implementation.Its function isto monitor, summarize and evaluate the implementation in accordance with theproject-oriented principles and the project goals. More dispersed activities in the pastwill be planned, implemented and evaluated through the project form,. Theconstruction of students ’associations in general calls will be concretely operated andspecially promoted. Finally, the construction of students ’ associations will become awell-known brand and the cumulative project development will be realized.
