“9+3”Secondary Vocational Education project is a good message which canpromote the economic and educational development in Tibetan areas in SichuanProvince. This project gets active response from various secondary vocational schoolsand up now there has been already more than80secondary vocational school recruiting“9+3”project students across Sichuan Province. Since the admission of Tibetan studentsin2009, there have been remarkable fruits in secondary vocational education, however,there are also some problems existing in the management aspect. Due to the sharpdifference in environment and culture, students from Tibetan areas experienced manydifficulties in adapting to the new environment. Some even has psychological problemsand some may violet the rules in the school. The purpose of the present thesis lies in theexploration of management problems in vocational schools to find to the root of theproblems and present suggestions.The present thesis includes five parts. Part one is the introduction. Researchbackground, the purpose and practical meaning, literature review, and the methodologywill be introduced. Part two is the status quo of secondary vocational education. Partthree is the explanation of source of problems in secondary vocational education basedon the reality in Sichuan Jiaotong Vocational College. Part four is the solution for theproblems including the preparations for “9+3” project, the establishment of schoolculture, organization of ethnical activities, promotion of psychological health etc. Partfive is the conclusion and limitations of the present research.
