Develop students’ information literacy, is the most fundamental goal of IT courses in the new curriculum requirements. Traditional IT teaching mode can not meet the teaching requirements, inquiry-based learning focus on students’ self-inquiry learning process, which advocates the active participation of students, conducive to the spirit of exploration and innovation of the development of students, independent learning and problem-solving ability, and its teaching philosophy and process in line with the requirements of the new curriculum, so Ⅰ will study based on the high school IT classroom, inquiry-based learning research and practice. Through study of the theory, Ⅰ constructed the basic mode of inquiry-based learning IT courses, and apply this mode to one semester of action research, the findings showed that students in all aspects and information literacy has improved, and inquiry-based learning can effectively improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching.This article is divided into seven chapters, the first chapter on the background and significance of the study, the definition of the concept of inquiry-based learning to identify research objectives and content of the research from home and abroad, Research and IT disciplines, the status quo. Chapter Ⅱ described the teaching theory, laid the theoretical basis for the study. The third chapter on the characteristics of IT disciplines, materials characteristics and student to prove the feasibility and advantages of inquiry-based learning carried out in high school IT class. The fourth chapter, first the characteristics of IT teaching content and inquiry-based learning inquiry-based learning sub-classified, and these two types of definition of the scope and case notes. Then build the IT lesson inquiry-based learning teaching model based on the theory of constructivism and inquiry-based learning features, from the perspective of teachers’ teaching.
