The development of school-based History curriculum is the process of establishingevaluation mechanism based on the school’s educational philosophy with thedevelopment of a history teacher according to the school or local educational resourcesindependently or with other agencies, personnel, to the school history curriculumselection, adaptation or supplement, development and design of teaching activities inschools. The development of school-based History curriculum is conductive toenhance the teaching of history of openness, flexibility, it is beneficial to enhancestudents’ history learning initiative, broaden the students’ learning view of history, thecultivation of students’ historical consciousness, enhances the student humanities’accomplishment of history. As our international school, school-based historycurriculum development, in the exploration of overseas students in China, the basiceducation has a certain significance. Based on the" Chinese traditional culture" thiscourse, as an example, is on the Middle School History School-based curriculumrelated theories, combining with the practice of Middle School History School-basedCurriculum Development in all aspects of the research, combined with thecharacteristics of school-based curriculum development of history value andsignificance are discussed.This article is composed of introduction, text, conclusion, references the four part.The text is divided into three parts, the first part of the history of school-basedcurriculum development had theory interpretation; In the second part of“Chinesetraditional culture”history of school-based curriculum development as an example, onthe history of school-based curriculum development and Practice for research; Thethird part elaborated the significance of school-based curriculum development ofhistory. Conclusion that history school-based curriculum development for the featuresof schools, teaching content, pay close attention to students’ individual development,improving teachers’ professional growth plays an important significance, but thecurrent Chinese basic education to middle school history school-based curriculumdevelopment is still very weak. About the Middle School History School-basedCurriculum Development Research less. And this kind of research for teachersaccording to their own teaching practice on the history of school-based teachingmaterial development of exploration, visible, Middle School History School-basedCurriculum Development Theory and the specific implementation process is nouniform model.
