In recent years, along with the prosperous of China’s economic development andurbanization process accelerating, migrant workers consisting mainly of floating populationscale is continually expanding. As a result of migrant workers groups emerging movement offamily characteristics, migrant children follow their parents to go into the city more and more,migrant workers children’s education management have become a focus problem.Jiangmen City Jianghai district is a new industrial development district. Accounted fornearly half of the migrant workers, migrant workers’ children attending public schools in thearea had increased from8%in2003to48.7%in2011. Properly handle the problems ineducational management of children of migrant workers, what has great significance in socialdevelopment and economic development of the area.This paper use a combination of documentary research, questionnaire, case studies, fieldtrips and other research methods. Based on conducting literature analysis and a comprehensiveunderstanding of the government to manage the migrant children’s education policy, the authorinvestigated the Jianghai district education management status of children of migrant workersfrom the management of social education, school education management and family educationmanagement through questionnaire, field trips, etc. Through the investigation and study aboutthe current situation, to find out the existing problems, and analyze of the causes of the problem,finally put forward a sound Jianghai District of migrant children education managementcountermeasures. First, we should innovative social management model to improve theefficiency of the migrant workers’ children education management. Second, improve the systemand the quality of management of school education of children of migrant workers. Third,strengthen scientific guidance; optimize the effect of family education of children of migrantworkers. Fourth, building society-schools-families tripartite linkage mechanism, improve themanagement system of migrant workers in their children’s education.
