This study is about the investigation and research of the study status of the children of migrant workers based on the actual situation of that the children of migrant workers in the author's school are relatively concentrative. It aims to get into the study problem of the children of migrant workers in urban public schools at the microscope level, then to find out the causes of the problem, furthermore, to propose some targeted strategies about the school management. The research can provide the feasible learning guide for the children of migrant workers, help them to adapt the environments, the new studies and life of the urban public schools as quickly as possible, and improve the learning effects and qualities of them.This paper mainly adopts the methodology of investigation and research to investigate the children of migrant workers and that of city workers. The questionnaire is designed from the four dimensions of the learning motivation, learning attitudes, learning methods and habits, and learning environment. Through the comparison and analysis the studies of the children of migrant workers and that of city workers, the main study problem of the children of migrant workers could be found out.The research results indicate that the children of migrant workers and that of city workers have obvious differences in the establishment of definite study objects, study self-confidence, work and study habits and academic performance. The main reasons resulting in the differences are:the lack of knowledge of the children of migrant workers, the lack of specific measures of teaching management which aim at the studies of the children of migrant workers, and the negative influence of the harmful factors of family environment to the studies of the children of migrant workers.For the main problem and their formation reasons of the children of migrant workers in their studies, this paper proposes the specific strategies of the school management to resolve the study problem of the children of migrant workers, as well as to improve the qualities of migrant workers.
