China’s Social Work Occupation

Our country is now in the social system reform and the transformation period, the traditional to the modern, agriculture to industrial social transformation, in the change of social structure and social economy to create huge productive process, also caused many social problems, and these problems have not simply rely on the government to solve, need the whole society to pay attention to and betting solve strength and method. Social work as a modern society to solve social problems main force, in the international play an indispensable role in social work in China, the development of the real count only20years of time, still cannot resemble abroad that will social work the professional function and utility incisively and vividly play. In the face of growing in China and increasingly complex social problems, how do social work as lawyers, doctors that play its as a professional characteristics and functions, is the experts and scholars in recent years of debateamong problem. And for the first time will be discussed is how social work towards professionalization, a campaign only become a professional can play its role and function. Social work as a kind of social problems and help people work, to realize their own value in the process of society is to reduce the burden, this is for the government to help the basic functions of the performance. But the situation in China today is, the social work efficiency and function when compared to the other countries are inferior, and its reason is because of social work’s professionalizaiton have not been formed, the functions of the government deficiency and excess. So this paper, from the Angle of government function to discuss the social work professionalization problem. Namely in the current system transition, the change of the government function under the background of times, as the main social work organization carrier and the main control power of the government, should take what kind of policy, system, ways to promote and promote social work professionalization.In this paper, through literature study, empirical study, experience summary and typical cases methods for social work present situation, existing problems, the causes to make concrete analysis, in reference to the United States on the basis of experience of social work, and again from the functions of the government put forward the specific countermeasures and methods to solve.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduction to borrow in the content of the news reports question:at present to social workers on the quality and quantity of demand and the existing problems, puts forward to how to make social work professionalization rapidly, in order to solve the problem. Highlighted the social work professionalization research background and significance, and introduces the use of the research methods and research content. The second chapter to professional and social work professionalization to carry on the analysis, explain why must carry on the professional and from for professional, and finally from the government’s point of view of social work professionalization. The third chapter introduces the present situation of social work in China, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the current social work and the reasons, and points out that the social work professionalization construction necessity and feasibility. The fourth chapter USES the social work development experience and the present situation and characteristics, based on the review of the enlightening, puts forward several Suggestions. The fifth chapter in previous chapters content combination, on the basis of government function from the Angle of the government in social work professionalization emphasizes the role positioning, and points out that the government should strive to cultivate social work demand market and social work related group guidance and support, to establish and perfect relevant policies and regulations, to strengthen the publicity of social work. The last conclusion, in this paper summarized, on the basis of the article points out that the current lack of executive power of the government and the discussion of social work professionalization limitations and deficiencies.
