Language is a tool for people to communicate with each other. Teachers, often compare to the engineer of the human soul, inherit of human civilization. Meanwhile, teachers spread knowledge by language, at the same time they use language directly to manage and discipline students. Language violence, which recently appear on mass media, teachers ever take language violence to students, people often see but they never reflect the reason and we never think the underlying Causes of language violence. The phenomenon should draw our attention. Comparing with the corporal punishment, teachers’language violence seems to be more hidden and cannot be perceived. I refer to others’paper about language violence, which discus on the perspective of pedagogy, psychology, ethics and related laws and regulations. This paper attempts to study language violence of teachers by collecting mass facts between teachers and students at school on the point of sociology. Then this study jus makes preliminary analysis.I make a long field survey in a middle school in NanJing. I collect a lot of fresh material on teachers students and teacher’s cases, to some degree, in the school field teacher language sometimes are full of widespread violence and for students it causes different effect on students in different levels. The phenomenon of teacher violence is very common at school, as a teacher is consciously or unconsciously, that a question to reflect. In particular "school" this "field" of teachers seem to have the knowledge, the capital due to school, teachers are given more right power and status. Teachers occupy knowledge, authority led to unequal status between the teachers and students, to some extent, the school field accelerated the teachers’authority and also lead to teachers language violence. Language violence plays an important role in education work, the development of teachers’teaching and students’all round development, the future growth.All these factors are profound. Any education problem deeply show the social problem.This paper,on the perspective of sociology reflect teacher authority, words hegemony, symbolic interaction theory and the paper analyses the cause of the teacher language violence, and based on the present situation of the education and think about of the future education.In short, the purpose of this study is just a description of a fact, a situation, expecting to make more and more people to concern teachers’language violence. Take some measures to improve the situation, let each student free from harmless, let teachers’language more kindness, beauty and truth. Education innovation road is too long, there is still a long way for us to go, to achieve final success.
