Language is the tie that connect human communication and exchanges, and is the window that human mind can be opened. The teacher’s language is a direct way of passing on knowledge and information. Rich artistic teacher’s language is the basic guarantee of educational success. At present, as people’s increasing concern on the cause of education, teachers directly the corporal punishment student phenomenon gradually reduce, but the teacher’s language violence is more prominent. The language violence that teacher to student is not only against the aim of education, but also caused serious damage to student’s body and mind. Therefore, the study of teacher’s language violence not only has profound theoretical value, but also has important practical significance. In this article, we attempt to demonstrate the phenomenon of teacher’s language violence and the inner source of teacher’s language violence from the perspective of sociology of education.This article firstly defined the meaning of some concepts such as violence, language violence, and teacher’s language violence. Meanwhile, the difference between teacher’s language violence and teacher’s criticism can be distinguished as well. On the categorization of violence, teacher’s language violence can be divided into dominant language violence and implicit language violence, which are discussed respectively. At the same time, the current situation of teacher’s language violence has been investigated by case study method. The performance of the teacher’s language violence especially recessive violence has been described and interpreted in theory by means of interviewing for X school students and teachers and the information obtained from classroom observations. The survey results are analyzed from the perspective of critical pedagogy, the essence of teacher’s language violence is also revealed. In addition, this paper tries to avoid one-sided complain surface reasons such as lack of ethics lack of teachers, teaching management, and etc. However, the causes of teacher’s language violence are deeply revealed from the four aspects including teacher’s power, cultural traditions, teacher’s identity and education system. Finally, the resolving strategies and prevention measures of teacher’s language violence are put forward. These resolving strategies and prevention measures mainly include the breakthrough power restriction between teachers and students, establishing pluralistic discourse, returning to the equal dialogue between teachers and students, improving teachers’ language training and establishing the system of humanistic management, respecting for individual expression and so on.
