Quality is the eternal theme in education. As an effective form of teaching to improve the quality in higher vocational education, internship was be agreed with by everyone. At present, the internship qualities were varied in higher vocational schools. And the complexity is the difficulty in its management. The implementation of practice teaching must be based on the school-enterprise cooperation in which government roles as a policies guider and system-maker, enterprises are the supporter and the final interests winner, while as the service provider and the absolutely main implementer, the higher vocational schools are responsible for organization and management in practice teaching. On the basis of full understanding and learning from existing research results, according to the logic of ideas "find the problem-analysis of the problem-to solve the problem" and to take the field survey, the paper attempts to explore deed levels of thinking about the current status of higher vocational schools in the managements of students internship.This paper consists of four parts. The first part elaborates the background and the significance of the research. Besides, it provides an overview of research methods, overall picture and updated literature review. The other three parts reveal the status quo and problems of internship management in a higher vocational school in Jiangsu Province, to explore the reasons of these problems, and put forward suggestions for improvement.This study is a case study. To the basis of the perspective of the school management, it took a survey on students internship of higher vocational education, and found that generally, higher vocational schools take a extensive management on students internship, and the management was prevalent in the absence of problem and dislocation, specifically included three stages management of internship. The reasons are mainly about two aspects, one is the misunderstanding on internship of higher vocational schools and students, the other is the objective reality of difficult constraints. Finally, the higher vocational schools should adopt a students-oriented and meticulous management.
