The Chinese State Council has put forward a number of measures related to the internship management in the Implementation Plan of National Vocational Education Reform at the beginning of 2019,such as “improve the abilities of vocational colleges in teaching management and teaching practice” “promote the construction of standards for internship”“the internship time in vocational colleges is 6 months usually” “enterprises shall take advantage of management elements to participate in school-enterprise cooperation” and so on.As an important form of talent training mode combining work with study in higher vocational colleges in China,internship management is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of higher vocational education.However,there are still problems in the management of internship actually,such as loose internship management and the double-subject status of school-enterprise management is not prominent.Therefore,it is of great significance to re-examine the internship management problem of higher vocational students in the new era of higher vocational education background.This research adopts the method of mixed research.First of all,based on theoretical research and in combination with the requirements of Regulations on Internship Management of Students in Vocational Schools,the analysis framework of internship management for higher vocational students is determined,and the relevant questionnaires are compiled;Then,taking the higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province as an example,this paper conducts a questionnaire survey and interview survey to some higher vocational teachers,enterprise personnel and interns,and finds out the existing problems and causes of the internship management of higher vocational students.Finally,based on the synergy theory,the paper puts forward the optimization countermeasures of the internship management of higher vocational students.The research findings are as follows :(1)The internship management of higher vocational students can be analyzed from two aspects of management process and internship effect.The internship management process of higher vocational students mainly includes four cycle stages: plan together,manage-educate together,share together,win together;The internship effect of higher vocational students can be evaluated from four aspects: internship satisfaction,learning attainment,knowledge application and organizational contribution.(2)The results reveal that the existing problems in the internship management of higher vocational students mainly include the following aspects: the channel of school-enterprise cooperation is relatively single;The school curriculum lags behind the practice content;The educational function of school and enterprise is not fully exerted;Students’ psychology and safety problems are prominent;Practice evaluation and summary is a mere formality.Based on this,the research finds out the cause of the problem from the two aspects of the supporting system and the main system:(1)The reasons for the supporting system include that the overall planning system of the government is not yet perfect,the service function of the guilds is not fully played,and the psychological education function of parents is missing;(2)The reasons for the main system include that the weak management strength of teachers’ internship in higher vocational colleges,the lack of enterprises’ understanding of on-post internship,the weak management ability of interns themselves,and the low degree of cooperative management of the main system.Based on the analysis of the above problems and causes,this research proposes optimization strategies based on the synergy theory:(1)Coordinating the supporting system factors: the government should strengthen its dominant position as order parameter,the guilds should build the school-enterprise collaborative information service platform,and parents should strengthen the function of education and supervision;(2)Synergizing the main system factors: higher vocational colleges should improve the internship management ability,enterprises should change the concept of development and strengthen cultural construction,interns should enhance psychological quality and make internship planning,colleges and enterprises should build a self-organizing internship management system.
