Nowadays, the tendency of the global economy development and the change ofmacro-economic situation have proposed severe challenges for our traditional education ofemployment. Especially when the higher education came to the popular period, the difficultiesof the graduates’ employment had become the bottleneck obstacles during the increasingdevelopment of our higher education; meanwhile it had also become a social problem withcommon concern. Under the circumstances of market economy and the growing demand ofhigher education, people gradually know that to solve the problem of employment cannotonly depend on the power of society and government, since they are unable to solve theemployment problem for all the educated. The experience of foreign educational developmenttells us that to address the employment effectively must develop entrepreneurship education.What’s more, the economic development and social entrepreneurship is also closely related tothe formation of culture. If we want our country’s economic development to be effective, wemust attach importance to stimulate entrepreneurship awareness of citizens and cultivate theentrepreneurial talents. Therefore, the Report to the Seventeenth National Congress of theCommunist Party of China clearly declared to implement a development strategy ofexpanding employment and to promote entrepreneurship for employment. Based on thesummary of China’s recent practice of employment and scientific analysis of the employmentsituation, encouraging and supporting entrepreneurship have been placed in a more prominentposition of employment.In the context of developing entrepreneurial-based society, entrepreneurship runs anincreasingly important role in the operation and development of the economy. However, therestill has no good answer to many questions, such as how to define the entrepreneurship,whether it can be cultivate, and how to make it come true. According to the study ofentrepreneurial process, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial behavior, this essay attempts toanswer what is entrepreneurship and how to cultivate entrepreneurship.This research will be discussed from three aspects,the first one is about the overview of the entrepreneurship,which is mainly about the definition of entrepreneurship andentrepreneurs, the theoretical basis of the connotation and characteristics of theentrepreneurial spirit cultivation. The author thinks the entrepreneurship is a process of valuerealization, including the interaction between the entrepreneurs and working environment, theidentification, the evaluation, the exploration and the valuation of the opportunity forestablishing a business. From a broad sence, the entrepreneur refers to those kinds of peoplewho start a new career according to their own ideas and hard work. From a narrow sense, itrefers to the people who can identify, evaluate, explore and value the work environment andcan integrate the resources with the market opportunity to create new value to meet thedemands of the people. And the result is usually to be the creation of a new enterprise and anew career. And the connotation of the entrepreneurial spirit can be summarized to be theinnovative spirit and dedication spirit and teamwork spirit from the angle of epistemology.And it reveals the difference of entrepreneurial spirits is because of the different views ofentrepreneurs. Besides, it put forward that the entrepreneurship can be cultivated by us. It alsoput forward the significance of cultivating entrepreneurial spirit. The second aspect mainlyresearch in the channel and existing problems of cultivating college students’ enterprisingspirit. It is based on the current situation of entrepreneurship education and problems inuniversities such as: the implementation of scientific education is not well undertaking, thelack of perfect and scientific curriculum system, the limit business plan competitor and thelack of teachers’ team and education funds, the entrepreneurship education research level islow and lack of entrepreneurship practice education, and the education of entrepreneurshipwas parted with society and so on. The third aspect analyzes the reasons about existingproblems of cultivating college students’ enterprising spirit: firstly, the business educationpolicy was not enough. Second, the loss of the entrepreneurship education concept. Third, thelack of entrepreneurship education investment. Fourth, the lack of entrepreneurship educationtalents. Fifth, the lack of entrepreneurship education environment. The fourth aspects has putforward the effective ways of cultivating entrepreneurial spirit: Firstly, business educationpolicy must be perfected, Second, strengthen the education venture investment, Third,development business courses, establish the interdisciplinary course structure venture. Fourth, cultivate entrepreneurial education teaching, establish specialized research team. Fifth,establish the students social support network.There are three innovations in this study: The first lies in the approach of the research.In light of the close and immediate relationship between enterprise education and economyand society,the writer combines the educational research with economies and social studyand therefore avoids the old approach education research. The subject studied innovatively ina broader scope with new perceptions. The second innovation was reflected by the theory,which clarifies the connection of enterprise undertaking and enterprise education,the natureof enterprise education and the differences between enterprise education and commoneducation. The third innovation is that the construction direction of enterprise educationmodels was put forward in this paper.
