Emotional education is the precious experiences and wisdom collected by the famousworldwide educators and predecessors in human education and teachings.It is not only a successful way of teaching and education but also a basic requirement forthe scientific educators.The present author has begun to explore the method of Emotional Education since hisstudy and training in the Department of Physical Education of Hebei Normal University in1983. From then on, well until1987I became a teacher myself, I’ve collected someexperiences, and I’ve always applied emotional education to my physical training classes andother educational life, and tried to explore a new way and method for this emotional teaching.With my30years of application of educational teaching experiences, armed with the teachingmethods of “4Emotions and4Loves”, I not only mastered the basic techniques and teachingmethods of sports, but also fulfilled with quality the many PE classes for the non-majors.Moreover, by using this method, I’ve coached25National and Provincial champions in trackand field events, earned53medals which are or above Provincial level. Of which4eventsbroke the records of National College Students Sports Meeting (Professional Group) andCollege Students Sports Meeting of Hebei Province.Based on Marx philosophy, Education, Psychology and other relative theories,combining the present general bad effects of the swimming teaching classes for thenon-majors, a more scientific conclusion is drawn. We instruct with the method of emotionalteaching, from a macro emotional teaching perspective to the idea of emotional teaching usedin the PE education domain, and the paper is a study of the integrate of emotional teachingresearch with the methods of swimming coaching. The emotional teaching method is thecentre of the present paper, which involved our years of tests, many cases of swimmingteaching experiments and the feedbacks from the students graduated from this department.Thus, it has been proved that the “4Emotions and4Loves” teaching method is one which ismore human, innovative, and effective. It contributes a lot to the fine results of swimmingteaching and the cultivation of sports skills of the students. The active application of the method suggested in this paper is greatly significant in the cultivation of the students’ sportsabilities, breaking the bottleneck of the insufficient emotional education and the training ofqualified talents for the21th century. The paper has not only enriched and developedemotional teaching theory, it also has certain theoretical and realistic meanings in thebooming and innovation of educational culture and the building of harmonious education andsociety.
