With the coming of intellectual economy times, the subject comprehensive tendency is becoming more and more obvious, so the traditional single subject and individual mode have already can’t meet the current demand. Under this background, the pattern of teaching and scientific research have produced new change, consequently, the team mode has received attention which integrated by different disciplines to do scientific and teaching research and it has made a great development. In addition, in order to further promote the reform of university internal structure and handle the relationship between the administrative power and academic power scientifically, colleges and universities in our country focus their attention on the academic teams, therefore, there is a very positive meaning of the study of academic team in universities.The academic team is different from other organizations, it has a very strong purpose, and the goal of the team is its existence basis, and the team member is the core of its construction. Colleges and universities in our country have made certain achievements, but there are still some problems from the present actual situation. On structure, it has a unreasonable member constitution and a single fixing mode, its function division of labor is not science, its duty and right also unclear and so on; while on operation pattern, its research direction is single and the goal setting is not rigorous. The cause of this kind of problem is that the academic team development is imperfect because of its internal and external factors influence. On the internal factors, many teams do not grasp their own scale, blind implanted some type of organizational structure, and they often ignore the member’s personal quality on the team member’s choice; judging from the external environment, the government has deviation in policy implementation, such as insufficient investment team resources, time pressure of the team project and some other factors that restrict the development of the academic team.To solve these problems, combined with the features of organizational management, we can do the academic team construction innovation from the two respects of organization structure and operation pattern. On the organization structure, function design is the foundation of the academic team, we should do the function decomposition in the premise of grasping the core functions of academic team, in order to determine the compose of the team function and member’s function; network structure study is the core, through the several elements of the adjustment and control of common vision, team learning, mental models, self-transcendence, and thinking systematically. On the basis of it, we shape the study team into a mature learning organization, and build a learning network structure that suitable for academic team; the range and the level of management is the key, on the basis of the labor division and the network learning, we should design the management level and the management range that suitable for the academic team in order to improve organization efficiency; on the academic team’s running pattern, its foundation are knowledge management, diversified development and learning network, so we have to use the method of risk control and conflict resolution to reconstruct the academic team operation pattern, through collaborative optimization and evaluation feedback.
