Secondary vocational education has become part of vocational education in our country,and it has brought up a lot of middle and basic-level technicians and skilled workers, and ithas set an important base for economical and social development. So we can consider that itcontributes a lot to the balanced development of society.With the all-around development of Education, it is necessary for the maths-teaching invocational secondary school to carry out students-based teaching. Professor Guo Sile fromSouth China Normal University raised the idea of students-based teaching, we mustremember why we teach, we must follow the idea of fully-respect the students, and try torealize that students are born with the ability of learning. We must realize that the learning ofstudents is more important than the teaching of teachers. Teaching must be based onstudents’learning first,then going with teachers’ teaching.The author would like to follow the idea of students-based teaching, and try his best tocarry it out with a lot of thinking-backs,and then reach the aim of teaching his students muchbetter. In fact,he has found it helpful to attract the students to learn new things more activelyby using such ways of teaching and it also does good to the result of his class to the studentswho major in car-repairing in his practical teaching research.First, with the concept of "students-based teaching", the teaching activities enhance thestudents ’interest in mathematics, improve students’ mathematics learning habits. Manystudents get interest in learning math, and their homework is significantly improved anddesertion is reduced.Second, a study group established has improved students’ classroom participation, andimprove the students’ subject status in the teaching, and cultivate the students’ consciousnessof cooperation and competition.Third, to promote the students’ lead homework follow-up classroom learning that theteachers understand students’ autonomous learning, also make the students’ learning goalsmore clear.Finally, with the concept of "students-based teaching", the students’ learningachievements are improved.
