The Study On Capacity Building Of Professional Service About Social Work Agencies

Nowadays, our country is in the Social Transformation Period, and the social service who the government provide can not meet the people’s multiple demand,but social work agencies have their unique advantage of offering the professional service of social work, which can complement the priorities of the two, bring the welfare for the public and promote the professional development of Social Work. But in recent years, the professional service who social work agencies provide doesn’t get the repercussions positively as people expect.This thesis takes the capacity building of social work agencies in professional service as the study object, and the author investigate the six social work agencies of the L district via the participant observation method and the interviewing method. Based on the material of the social work agencies, the evaluation reports about them,and interviewing the staff in different aspects, the author discourse the situation of the capacity building of social work agencies, and analyze the restraining factorsThis study found that the quality of service and the legality were the factors which affected the capacity building of social work agencies in professional service.
