Research On The Current Situation And Strategies Of The Career Planning For Students In Preschool Education

With the issue of " On some advice of developing preschool education by the State Council" in November,2010, the whole society begins to focus their full attention on the future development of preschool education. Therefore, the career planning of students in preschool education has been attentioned. This paper makes a comprehensive and systematic research about career planning of students in preschool education, and develops such conclusion as:The anxiety level for the students in preschool education is normally high. Through the two questionaires (status-feature (STAI) Chinese version in1988and the self-designed questionaire on the current situation of career planning), we found that when facing employment pressure, not only do the students in preschool education show high levels of anxiety, but also they are already pretty anxious in their regular studying and living. Except for closing to graduation, the main reasons for this phenomenon are as follows:they have no interest in their major as well as know little about it. Above all, they are lacking of a more clear and definite career planning; The students in preschool education have obvious problems with their career planning. Through the furture investigation, we found that their average score in six aspects are rather too low, roughly between13.87to24.66. They are ranged from high to low according to the score which are self-awarenss, environmental recognition, career planning consciousness, knowledge of theory with career planning and implementation of career planning. The last two aspects are particularly requried to be strengthened. In addition to increase the relevant supervision, we should offer better theoritical knowledge on career planning as well as actively guide them to make a scientific and reasonable career planning; Good career planning conditions should be created for students in preschool education. According to this paper, we could achieve the goal if we work hard from the two aspects. Firstly, the students should fully take their initiatives in making a career planning. In view of the lack of motivation, poor self-planning ability, a series measures could be taken, including strengthen their career planning consciousness, help them design the career planning actively, and improve their occupational quality thoroughly. Secondly, impoving and perfecting career planning guidance service system. Aiming at the short of theoritical knowledge in career planning, the imperfection of related assessment tools and software facilities, and the poor ability of career planning staff, the universities and colleges should set professional career planning guidance curriculum, optimize the teaching staff as well as found career planning guidance centre to perfect the guiding service system and provide a scientific guidance for students in preschool education.
