Teacher-student dialogue, in which teacher plays a leading role, whose language has a significant impact on students’ development, is one of the main ways of the interaction between teachers and students. Teacher’s sincere and standard language can bring harmony to teachers and students relationship, enlighten students’ wisdom and cultivate their minds, and bring them enjoyable pleasure, whereas;the in-sincere and non-standard language can strain their relationship, or even trigger conflicts, causing great physical or mental harm to students. Based on the idea of constructing harmonious and equal relationship between teachers and students, this paper not only clarifies the teachers’role definition in dialogue and analyze the existing problems and their reasons, but also proposes optimization strategies to provide references for the mode of teacher-student dialogue, in order to promote the development of the harmonious relationship between teachers and students.The introduction of this paper makes a clear definition on "teacher-student dialogue" and "teachers’language", and then the relevant present situations home and abroad are widely elaborated, making the direction of this research clear.The first chapter locates the role in teacher-student dialogue, namely, the teacher acts as a listener, a demonstrator and a guide.The second chapter illustrates the existing problems in teacher-student dialogues, which mainly represents as the relationship of each other are of confronting and isolated, the content are of empty and hallow, the means of dialogues are of single and easy orders.The third chapter excavates the causes of teachers’ problems, including the traditional "Subject and object" role mode between teachers and students, the generation-gap, the conflicts on their experiences and values, the self-cultivation of teachers’ language and some other irresistible factors from school and society.The forth chapter proposes several optimization strategies of the teachers’ language in teacher-student dialogue. The specific measures are: establishing an appropriate scenario, analyzing the student individual differences and improving teachers’personal attainment.
