Abstract/Summary:
Every girl will be faced with the situation of having PE.(physicaleducation) classes during menstruation.But as11-15year-old junior schoolstudents in early and middle period of puberty,their specific physiologicaland psychological characteristics including physical discomfort andemotional fluctuations, determine that they are quite different from the usualwhen having classes during menstruation.They will have boredom and evenresistance.There are many reasons for this phenomenon,but schools, teachers,parents and even students themselves are not paying enough attention to thisphenomenon.The main methods the author used are documentation method,questionnairesurvey method and mathematical statistic method.According to the large numberof relevant information I have looked up a data,,the study of such problemsare mainly focus on the influences of various sports on the menstruation ofathletes,or correlational studies of female students having PE.classes duringmenstruation.While the relevant studies on middle school student arerelatively less,and they are mostly focused on the psychology aspect.Thisstudy is mainly to identify the impact factors and their importance of femalejunior school students having PE.classes during menstruation from allaspects.I investigated600female junior school students and their40physicaleducation teachers who have had menstrual experiences,from six schools inHaidian District in Beijing, such as Beijing iron and steel instituteaffiliated middle school,Zhichunli Middle School,Petroleum instituteaffiliated middle school,Beijing university of aeronautics and astronauticsattached middle school,Zhongguancun middle school,and Beijing JiaotongUniversity affiliated middle school.The results showed:1、There are big gaps when the junior middle school girls of part Haidiandistrict of Beijing have physical education class in peacetime and menstrualperiod.2、Teachers and students have different views about female juniorschool students having PE.classes during menstruation.3、 Through thecomprehensive analysis of the survey of teachers and students, there are17factors impact on partly of the female junior high school students who havePE.classes during menstruation of Haidian District in Beijing,and accordingto the impact importance extent, the factors are as follows:physical condition factors>psychological factors,age factors>the environmental factors>willpower factors,weather factors> PE.teachers,sports factors> site factors,seasonal factors> sports consciousness, knowledge mastery factors>race,senior high school entrance examination, speciality additionalexamination, and the final exam factors.PE teachers should strengthen theirown scientific theory knowledge,and understand the specific situations ofthe students,thus they can design course contents and methods morescientifically. We hope schools can provide relevant knowledges to thestudents and parents about puberty physiological,health education and howto have PE.classes more scientifically. Parents and physical educationteachers could guide the students together,and then the students can havescientific sports activities or exercises during menstruation.
