South Korea is one of China’s neighbors and long-standing cooperation andcultural exchanges between the two countries become more and more frequentlysince China joined the WTO. Chinese as the second language in South Korea’spopular development is the trend of the times. However, compared with Chinadomestic Chinese international students’ education, the Chinese education overseasis not mature. Chinese education in Korea also needs our emphasis, in order tocontinue maintaining the development and prosperity of Chinese in Korea. Chinesehas become Korea’s second most learners of a language. Textbooks are one of thethree elements of the teaching process and its importance can not be ignored. Forlearners, comprehensive teaching materials can not only help learners enhance theirinterest and confidence in learning Chinese, but also can help with learning byeffectively previewing and reviewing knowledge and master the Chinese languagefaster and better. All in all, make sure students spending less time and effort tounderstand to equip them with as much knowledge of the language which means areal sense of good teaching material. I found Chinese textbooks published in Korea,full of rich colors, perfect design, illustrations, and some materials with audio-visualmaterials, such as CD-ROM and CD-ROM materials, which makes Chinese classteaching more lively and joyful. There are still some problems in elementary Chinesetextbooks, which means Chinese materials has yet to be perfected. The difficulty ofKorean Chinese teaching materials in materials syntax is moderate but the syntaxexplanation is too simple. Korean Chinese teaching materials is rich in culturalcontent, but lack of Intercultural Communication. To solve the problems above, thispaper analysis Chinese teaching materials of Incheon two junior high schools in thehope of making contribution to South Korea’s primary preparation of teachingmaterials.
