| In the current system, China carries out the quality education, and the implementation ofit has more rigorous requirements of the to reform college courses. To reform the collegesports programs needs to update the concepts on the basis of the traditional mode of teaching,and the re-creation of existing teaching resources. The orienteering courses compared to thetraditional PE Curriculum, is a new subject, because it is focused on the development bothof physical and intelligence, and this development has broadened the space in universities, ofthe PE Curriculum resources, and it can also achieve the transformation from the existingteaching of traditional PE courses to the overall development of students’ quality.The orienteering course activities in favor of the promotion of sports courses deepeningreform and the implementation of the National Fitness Program. It carried out in line with theoverall trend of college physical education curriculum reform, is conducive to the fullimplementation of the physical education curriculum goals. Orientation course to carry outsports teaching space has been broadened, which fully reflects the modern philosophy ofeducation; also to develop students’ independent analysis to determine the issue andproblem-solving skills, the ability to respond quickly to encounter unexpected events, thesehave the help students physical and mental health, as well as the culture of lifetime sportsconsciousness. Orienteering its unique charm to attract the attention of students to enhancestudents’ enthusiasm for sports activities, and comprehensively improve the physical fitness ofstudents, has a very important role in the realization of school students comprehensive trainingobjectives.This article is on the basis of abundant resources, and the respondent were the students andteachers from the University of Shandong Province. I made use of questionnaires, expertinterview and mathematical statistics and other research methods, and analyze the research onPresent Situation of orienteering courses and orienteering constraints, explore some specificmeasures of development of the orienteering courses. The results as follows: 1,orienteering courses in Physical Education Major of Universities in Shandong Province andits development situation is not optimistic, the popularization of students’ knowledge is in alow level, and students’ means of access to information and skills are relatively simple.2, the basic quality of orienteering teachers are good, but it is lack of further study, as well asthe professional knowledge, and the classroom teaching methods.3, and the existing teaching facilities and resources available in the school sports programs aretight, venue orienteering teaching resources can only meet the basic needs of and therequirements of the existing teaching, in which the map resources are scarce.4, for now, constraining factors carried out by the Universities of Shandong PhysicalEducation in orienteering courses: the degree of attention to the constraints of the traditionaland the re-creation of existing teaching concept of school leadership, orienteering publicityand popularity of the knowledge required for teaching and learning teachers forces, venuesand equipment problems, sports injuries in the teaching process, students on this course,interest in learning.5, University of Shandong Province orienteering course development is that the emphasis toimprove leadership, enhance the professional quality and ability, in order to get rid of theshackles of traditional ideas, step up publicity efforts, and take full advantage of the siteresources to develop the teaching equipment in order to create favorable conditions to carryout orienteering course. |
