Current Situation And Countermeasure Research On Career Plateau Among Young Teachers In Higher Vocational College Of Shandong

Career plateau has attracted more and more attention of the society, it is an objective phenomenon during the individual career development, and it has a significant impact on the individual development and also the organization development. Research in this area is far from enough. As a large educational province of Shandong, higher vocational education occupies half part of higher education. So, to study the current situation and cure measures of career plateau phenomenon of higher vocational colleges and the development of higher vocational education of Shandong are very important.This research based on theory study and practice experience of career plateau phenomenon before adopting document analysis method, interview method and other research methods, career plateau phenomenon has been studied among young teachers in higher vocational colleges of Shandong. By way of questionnaire, the status and influence factors have been studied among young teachers in six higher vocational colleges in Shandong, and eight of teachers have been selected to conduct interviews about the career plateau. And investigated the behaving elements of young teachers’ career plateau in Shandong higher vocational colleges with variance analysis and regression analysis. Refer to the domestic and foreign occupation plateau phenomenon causes analysis, combined with the results of this empirical study of young teachers’ career plateau phenomenon in Shandong higher vocational colleges. Accordingly, this research seeks the way to deal with career plateau phenomenon of Shandong higher vocational colleges young teachers.Therefore, the dissertation is composed of six sections inclusive of three studies on present situation, causes and Countermeasures of young teachers’ career plateau in Shandong higher vocational colleges. Based on the above-mentioned results, we drew conclusions as follows:1. Shandong higher vocational colleges young teachers of the career plateau is a multi-dimensional hierarchical system, consisting of hierarchical plateau, content plateau, centralized plateau, rate plateau and emotion plateau.2. Currently, young teachers’ career plateau in Shandong higher vocational colleges is in the upper level, but there are differences among the five factors. Young teachers get lowest scores in centralized plateau while highest in hierarchical plateau.3.The formation of young teachers’ career plateau in Shandong higher vocational colleges is the result of many factors, this result is relation of the needs of blue and yellow economy’ development of Shandong province, influence of Qilu traditional culture and so on.
