This thesis aims to introduce this unique training mode which is developingmulti-ball teaching into the ordinary university teaching process, the key is to figure outthe appropriate way which would suit for the students and meanwhile verify it duringthe practical teaching experiments. It is hoped that the method will be improved in thefuture and this paper will offer reference for the college teachers in their further tennisteaching process.This thesis adopts many experimental methods which includes literature datamethod, mathematical statistics method and experimental method. By studying, itcomes to the following conclusions:1. Multi-ball teaching method plays an importantrole in helping students to achieve the standard.2.Multi-ball teaching method hasremarkable impact on forming and stabling the students’ skills.3. Multi-ball teachingmethod has remarkable impact on improving the students’ physical condition.4.Multi-ball teaching method has some positive impact on cultivating students’ ability ofcooperation. Here are some suggestions:1. To carry on this multi-ball teaching method,those teachers should strengthen the study and research of teaching theory and theschool should increase the constructions of those hardware facilities relating to tennisvenues.2. This experiment is just done from the fundamental level, mainly focusing onthe ordinary university students, therefore the author sincerely pins the hopes on thelater investigators, for designing more ideal teaching experiment.3. Multi-ball teachingstill needs further research and discussion.
