The thesis carried out a study on education of fme arts appreciation from an art appreciator's point of view. It begins with the aesthetic psychological graphic formula formed during the fine arts appreciation process of high school students, explores the general psychological mechanism, procedure and disciplines of aesthetics, and thereby grasps students' psychological characteristics of art appreciation. Moreover, the study involves the cultural environment of students, which is a mergence of traditional ethical culture and contemporary social cultural environment, and tries to understand the influences of cultural factors on art appreciation experience. On the basis of above studies, the information processing theory of art appreciation learning is adopted to establish a fine arts appreciation education system that is coincidence with high school students' aesthetic psychological characteristics and meet the students' cultural needs.The summary of the main chapters are as follows:Chapter two is a review of the research achievements of western aesthetic psychology, as well as related domestic researches on kids' aesthetic psychology and fine arts education. These achievements not only reflect people's own recognition of the increasing importance of aesthetic psychology, but also a series of scientific research methods of aesthetic psychology. Besides, these intensive research achievements provide precious theory support for the thesis. For example, the research of developing phase of children's aesthetic psychology in "Zero Point Project" illustrates the aesthetic psychology characteristics of high school students which are in the early stage of their youth, and also points out the possibility of comprehending intensive art. Three trends of human's aesthetic psychological development are specified, which are from representational to abstractive, from themes to styles, from style stimulation to style representation. The related domestic researches on kids' aesthetic psychology and fine arts education provides us more detailed references. These researches not only indicate the students' psychological features when appreciating fine arts works, but also put forward several existing problems and corresponding solutions. Chapter three mainly dissertates the aesthetic psychological characteristics of fme arts appreciation.
