School-based curriculum development of the rural elementary school have important significance. School-based curriculum development of rural elementary schools not only help to push the step of the new curriculum reform of rural elementary schools, make up the shortage of the new curriculum reform, and help to overall develop student’s mind and body, and help to the specialization development of rural teachers and also help the rural elementary school to form its own special feature. School-based curriculum development is an endless process, and it needs the joint effort of various communities. At present, school-based curriculum development of the rural elementary school still exist a lot of problems and clag, and these problems seriously restrict the progress and effect of school-based curriculum development in the rural elementary school. Therefore, it needs more researchers and educators apply themselves to study and initiate school-based curriculum development of the rural elementary school.The main research methods of this thesis are literature method, the interview method and questionnaire method and so on. It is the main thought of this thesis thereinafter. Via the survey and interview of the individual case, analyse the elementary school’s support system and procedure of school-based curriculum development summarize the elementary school’s experience of school-based curriculum development, introspect problems of its school-based curriculum development,and put forward homologous suggestions, and sum up apocalypse for school-based curriculum development of the similar rural elementary school. The structure of this thesis is mainly divided into six parts. The first part is a preface, which includes research reasons, related concept definition, literature overview, research methods and thinking of school-based curriculum development in the rural elementary school. The second part is actualities of the elementary school’s school-based curriculum development, which includes the brief introduction to the elementary school and elucidation the total condition of this school’s school-based curriculum development. The third part is analysis the support system of this school’s school-based curriculum development. This part is mainly to expound the support system of school-based curriculum development from the support angle of view with the managers of the school, teachers, students, education administrators outside of school, the experts of the curriculum, parents and folk people. The fourth part is the procedure of school-based curriculum development of the rural elementary school. This part will be construed from the realistic condition of the school, the target of this school’s school-based curriculum development, the principle of the school-based curriculum development, the choosing and organization of school-based curriculum matter, the implementation and the evaluation of this school’s school-based curriculum. The fifth part is the case school’s experience, introspect and apocalypse of school-based curriculum development.This part mainly involves the related experience of school-based curriculum development of the rural elementary school, the introspect of school-based curriculum development of the rural elementary school and the apocalypse of school-based curriculum development for similar rural elementary school. The sixth part is end language. This part mainly summarize the conclusion of this research and introspect the shortage of this research, in order to indicate a direction for the following research.
