The importance of teachers is obvious in order to develop the country education and run a country school well. The fundamental position of the development of the teachers is reflected in the report on the reform and development of education enterprise of the the18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which fully embodies that the Party’s Central Committee and the State Council have paid attention to this question. In recent years, the government has been taking measures to increase the attraction of the occupation of teachers in rural areas. In2006, the government has carried out a new measure called"Ad Hoc Post Teacher Planning" in the western region, which extended to the central region in2009. This plan chooses graduates of institutions of higher learning to participate in the rural education enterprise, which, on one hand,relieved the pressure of employment of the graduates, and on the other hand,added fresh blood to the teachers’team in rural and remote areas. This plan can enrich the local teachers’team and improve rural teachers’quality,which is a new try to the mechanism of teachers supplement.The occupational well-being of teachers is an important content of teachers’ professional life. To research and cultivate the vocational happiness not only can benefit to help the teachers improve the quality of educational and teaching activities and make them feel happiness in their occupational life, but also can contribute to improve the quality of education in overall rural areas, the development of rural education, he construction of teachers and the realization of educational fairness, which is just the original intention.The opening of the paper is preface. It includes the raise of the question, interpretation of related concepts, research status, purpose and significance of research and research design. The first part of the paper is the relation between teachers’ occupational well-being and teachers’professional development. It includes two aspect: the feature of teachers’occupational well-being and the significance of teachers’ occupational well-being. The second part is the description about the current situation of the occupational well-being of Miss Y. In this part,Ⅰ choose the method of narration, and summarize the occupational well-being of Miss Y in about10aspects.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of the occupational well-being of Miss Y. I summarize the inner thoughts of Miss Y,the source of Miss Y’s occupational well-being,and the possible influencing factors. And the fourth part is advice,which contains the improvement and supervision of the policy, the promotion of the local schools and the endeavor of the Ad Hoc Post teachers themselves.The focus of the paper is the individual interview of Miss Y, and in the research process,Ⅰ should pay attention to the objectivity of the materials.The difficult point is the sorting and analysis of the materials.Through the study on the case study of Miss Y’s occupational life, some understanding and analysis about Miss Y’s current occupational well-being are obtained, and at last try to put forward some proposals to improve the happiness of the teachers.
