Seeing concept as a guide in the reform of the essential-qualities-oriented education, this paper is aimed at exploring the present situation of the class management, putting forward the theory and practice of class democratic management, implementing the mission of the essential-qualities-oriented education in cultivating the students’practical ability and innovative spirit above the level of education management. The ultimate goal of middle school class democratic management is to realize the comprehensive development of middle school students by cultivating their ability of self-education. In this paper, including four aspects:the content of middle school class democratic management and its characteristics; the necessity and the possibility of middle school class democratic management; the internal obstacles of middle school class democratic management; The basic route of implementation of middle school class democratic management. The content of four aspects follow the logical way of thinking, from general to specific, from the problem to the countermeasure. The foothold of this article is the fourth part, The introduce of the basic theories in the first three parts, the argumentation of its necessity and possibility, and the analysis of the internal obstacles services for the basic path of middle school class democratic management.Firstly this paper introduces the basic theory of middle school class democratic management, including the related concepts:class, class management and class democratic management, etc; the basic elements of middle school class democratic management: the middle school teachers and middle school students, class committee, and rules; The main characteristic of middle school class democratic management: respect, freedom,"the rule of law", negotiation. The paper emphasis that the core of middle school class democratic management is respect. Secondly the paper gives the comprehensive demonstration about the necessity and possibility of middle school class democratic management by explaining the demands of the time and requirements of the middle school class democratic management and the cause of the implementation of middle school class democratic management, therefore, we can draw a conclusion: implementing class democratic management is the inevitable developing trend of middle school class management. Since middle school class democratic management is feasible, we will be in class management practice to explore how to carry out class democratic management. For many problems in the practice of class democratic management, including the middle school teachers’deviation of the understanding about middle school class democratic management,the lack of the support of good class atmosphere and the lack of consciousness class democratic management around middle school students, the paper analyzes problems existing in the practice of class management. So it can make our routes more targeted, and avoid the error in practice.
