Geographic image system is one of the most suitable and important geography teachings.With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum, the study on the learning situation ofhigh school geography chart is of great necessity. Geographic diagram of college entranceexamination can not merely indirectly evaluate the teaching effect of the geography teacher,but also effectively and comprehensively test the students’ geographical capability and qualitythat they have acquired. Hence, the analysis of the geographic diagram of college entranceexamination can provide the present geographic teaching with effective evaluation on onehand, and offer some insights for designing the more reasonable and efficient geographypaper on the other.Taking the analysis of the geographic diagram of college entrance examination as theclue, this thesis is conducted by means of adopting the documentation method and quantitiveanalysis. It tends to employ the theory of multiple intelligences, build theory and Taxonomyof Educational Objectives as well as "learning by doing" theory as the theoretical basis, andtake the requirements of the new curriculum standards on geography learning as the researchreference to probe into the present situation of the geographic diagram of college entranceexamination from2008to2012. By means of making a summary of the design basis, materialselection as well as the characteristics of the questions, this thesis summarizes four teachinginsights. Finally, the author attempts to design two geography diagrams, and which accordbasically with the design requirements of the geography diagram.
