Education is the cornerstone of national rejuvenation and socialprogress. The report of the Eighteenth National People’s Congressof the Communist Party of China has indicated that the governmenthave to make efforts to run the satisfaction of the people’seducation, must adhere to give priority to the development ofeducation and strive to improve the quality of education, to activelydevelop continuing education, and to perfect the system of life-longeducation. Also the government proposed to strengthen theconstruction of teaching staff, and emphasize on improving thequality of teachers in rural areas. At the same time, to reinforce thepost-teacher-training in primary and secondary school and to builda high-quality teachers’ team will contribute to promote the reformand development of education, to improve the quality of the nation,enhancing the overall national strength, which are the importantstrategic.Through the efforts during those years, the remarkable resultshave achieved from the national to local level. The government hasdesigned a series of teacher training courses, for example theNational training program and famous teachers project, which hasprovide a good platform for our teachers to learn and practice. But in the research process, we also found that there are someproblems in the continuing education of teachers, for example,utilitarian training purposes, simplification of the form of training,training organization undisciplined, personnel passivization,outdated training information, training inefficient, training timecontradictory and so on.This article will focus on these issues and analyze the reasonscausing by these problems. At the same time, we will take effectivestrategy to solve these problems. Such as, before the training thereis necessary to fully communicate with teachers, and with fullrespect for the teachers’ training needs. And we have to strictly tochoose the trainer and the content of training has to combine thetheory with practical. That means we can’t only focus on impartingtheoretical knowledge. Teachers need to be told directly that oneplus one equals two, rather than told them why does one plus oneequals two. Though these effective strategy, we can improve theexisting state of training affairs, which can not only improve theoverall quality of teachers, but also can improve the quality of basiceducation.
