“The illiteracies in the future are not people who could barelyread and write, but people don’t know how to learn”. A good studyhabit is an important indicator of learning how to learn. Cultivatingstudents’ autonomous learning ability and teaching students how tolearn are significant means for school to train talents for thesustainable development of the society.As the guided learning plan has the guidance on learning, reading,thinking, and conducting, it has been prevalent in recent years in thefield of elementary education. But it is scarely applied in highereducation. However, owing to the impact from Exam-orientededucation, most middle school students make passing anexamination for entrance into college as their only learning goal. Avariety of learning styles and relatively loose supervision in collegecan bring freshness to many freshmen, but at the same time theyare very likely not accustomed to learning styles in college. For thisreason, beyond doubt, helping the freshmen learn to learning, guidingthem into the professional field, and then geting used to the learningstyle are vital task of lower grades in college. The thesis uses thephenomenon mentioned above as the starting point, makes the cultivation of college students’ autonomous learning ability as thecore target, and makes an attempt to improve the classroom teachingmodel in the course of “Introduction to Radio and Television”.The research focuses focus on the classroom teaching modeand autonomous study, and do the following works: A).Do a survey ingrade1and grade2of Radio&Television Directing in Shanxi NormalUniversity School. Collecting and analyzing their learning style andlearning situation information. B).Making an analysis of the learningneeds and learning content of “Introduction to Radio and Television”.C). Discussing the applicability and significance of guided learningplan used in the course. It can help students confirm their learningdirection, guide them to learn; help them have a comprehensiveunderstanding of their professional field, highlight the main line inlearning; cultivate their autonomous learning ability, can lay a solidfoundation for lifelong learning.With the help of the course team,“Introduction to Radio andTelevision”, the study has designed guided learning plan of the courseand builded a resource Website concerning curriculum as anautonomous learning platform. On the basis of this, the study hastested its efficiency.The results prove that: guided learning plan is suitable to employin the course teaching of higher education, and has an obvious effecton cultivating lower grade students’ self-learning ability; richresources and effective instruction provide a guarantee for students’self-learning effect; the website provide resources for students’learning, and also acts as a beneficial attempt for learning community.The collaboration tools such as forum and QQ on the platform could provide supportive services for students’ learning once theyencounter some problems.
