Research Of College Culture Construction Under Marxist Culture Theory

Marxist cultural theory is Marxists’basic understanding about culture. With big development of socialist culture today, as scientific theory, it shows previous value. Campus culture is an important part of socialist advanced culture. A healthy campus culture is important to the improvement of schools’ core competition and developing level. However, with the deepening of market economic system continuously improved and the reform of education system, our college culture construction has come up with many new situations and new problems. College is the important base of training socialist qualified builders and successors. We need guidance from Marxist culture theory to solve the problems it faces in the ideological field and to strengthen the cultural construction. Exploration of cultural construction in Colleges in the view of Marxists cultural theory is an urgent need to further study.This paper starts in four parts researching college cultural construction under guidance of Marxists cultural theory. The first part mainly introduces the research background, research significance, research methods and the research overview both at home and abroad; the second part briefly introduces the concept of culture, culture view, college culture, college culture construction, Marxist cultural view and their main content; the third part analyzes the reality of the campus culture construction in China,within four parts including the construction of college material culture, spiritual culture, behavior culture and system culture, discusses the current achievements and existing problems in college cultural construction and analyzes the reasons; the fourth part is the focus of this paper. It offers advices of college cultural construction under the view of Marxist cultural thoughts, beginning from five parts ".the guiding philosophy of Marxism, building a harmonious college spirit culture, shaping a institutional culture in college with more participatory, creating a college material culture with rich cultural implication and the construction of a sincere and noble college behavior culture.
