Language is restricted by long time society precipitation of heritage, it includesthe history, habits, traditions, arts and so on. Culture cannot easily be fixed, thedefinition of the actual content is extensive, covering all of the human survivalenvironment, including social ways of thinking, values, norms, etc. Language andculture have a close relationship. Culture is the foundation of language, language isthe carrier of culture. Language and culture are interdependent and mutuallyinfluenced. Therefore, in the practice of language learning, part of the culture shouldnot be neglected. Due to lack of cultural knowledge, the language learning would notbe symmetrical, therefore the language would be withot soul.The main purpose of language learning is to better up communication withpeople, but in some ways, if you don’t know the language or don’t know the impliedcultural aspects of the real meaning, it will lead to misunderstanding. Therefore, inlanguage teaching, cultural education is indispensable, it is absolutely vital. Thisindicates the learners to learn a language not only in listening, speaking, reading,writing, etc., but also pay attention to its cultural education. This not only helps tolanguage learning, but is also helpful to deeply understand the cultural background ofa language. This would definitely be helpful to achieve high quality in languagelearning and to cultivate more excellent language talent. This would be an idealwin-win situation.South Korea’s high school Chinese textbooks related department released theseventh education course content system, one of the great changes is the addition of"cultural elements" in teaching materials. This thesis is based on the seventheducational course’s cultural content, in the 《Chinese language Ⅰ》,《Chineselanguage Ⅱ》the existence of cultural content in Chinese textbooks, including SouthKorea’s high school is widely introduced in the textbooks 《Chinese language Ⅰ》,《Chinese language Ⅱ》 published by the Ming publishing house, the shu Lin press,the Fumin culture press, Minzhong Shulin press, SISA press. The detailed analysis in this thesis is done by going through these11Korean high school Chinese textbooks’cultural conents.The first chapter: introduction. This chapter is divided into three parts. The firstpart introduces the reason of my choice and research significance. The second part ofthis selected topic of research is about the present situation, the south Korean researchstatus and the status quo of the research in China. The third part is introduced in thispaper describes about the research scope, research content and the new ideas。Chapter2: South Korea’s current high school Chinese teaching material structureand the cultural content. This chapter is divided into two parts. The first partintroduces the teaching material structure. It says about the types of teaching materialsavailable and the teaching material system. The second part of the teaching materialof cultural content has proposed a survey research on cultural contents in the highschool textbooks.The third chapter: South Korea’s current high school Chinese teaching materialsculture content analysis. First, the author analyzes the main characteristics of currenthigh school Chinese textbooks and the Chinese textbooks used before, at the sametime, going through a variety of high school Chinese teaching materials does thecomparative analysis of material distribution, the relationship between culturalcolumn and the text and images.The fourth chapter: suggestions for the South Korea’s high school Chineseteaching material’s cultural content.Teaching material should be interesting. According to the questionnaire basedsurvey conducted on south Korean high school students. After that, cultural columnshould be closely related to the content of the text. The thesis analyzes the role ofcultural column in the various teaching materials as well as analyses the relationshipof cultural column with the text, After the analysis it puts forward the proposal tochange the position of the culture column.
