Nowadays, private higher education has been booming and become an important part of higher education in China with the further development of the society, economy and the reform of higher education. However, private higher education faces opportunities and challenges. Due to the expansion continued in the college and certain schools or educational organization abroad or oversea trooping in, private college has come under intense pressure. What should private college do to survive in the fierce competition? Strengthening human resources management and trying to build up a good team of teaching staff may solve the problem. But in current private colleges, there are some existing problems in human resources management. Therefore, probing some measures to the human resources management is one of the most important issues that private colleges are facing now.Selecting Guangdong university of SK which processes the universality as the research object, this paper uses the theory of human resources management to thoroughly analyze the existing problems of Guangdong university of SK, study the measures of solving the problems mainly based on the six models of human resources management and put forward the reasonable and scientific methods.At the beginning, this paper briefly introduces the background, purposes and aims, the state of the art of the domestic and oversea, the targets, the creations, the ways and technical paths of the research. Next, it discusses the related theory of human resources management including the connotations of the human resources management and the intensions of the private college human resources management, the contents and characters of the private college human resources management. Then, electing Guangdong university of SK as the research object, this paper analyzes the state of the art of human resources and the existing problems, such as lacking the core value of human resources management. After that, this paper puts forward seven measures to solve the problems which Guangdong university of SK is facing. At the end, it makes a conclusion and offers the prospects for the private colleges consisting of Guangdong university of SK.The value of this paper is on the practical applicability of the research results and it clears up some common problems existing in human resources management. It puts forward the relevant measures to the human resources management in private colleges, such as performance assessment, which is of some references to the healthy and sustainable developments of private colleges.
