Homework is an important part of Chinese teaching in primary school, the classroomteaching, extracurricular activities and homework constitute the complete Chinese teachingsystem for primary school, which is consolidated and used by classroom teaching, and animportant way to improve teaching quality. Since the new curriculum standard implementation,the overdose homework burden is an indisputable fact, the low efficiency of the classroom,repetitive work, let the students suffer unspeakably. Therefore, by the study of the classroomteaching optimization, Chinese homework design has attracted a lot of attention, and become abright spot. Homework as ‘the extension and supplement of classroom teaching’, is an importantpart of teaching, it is of great advantage to explore new type and effective operation model andhomework design actively for developing active learning attitude of students.Sternberg stood in the modern cognitive psychology education highly expanding researchfield, in order to reveal the human intelligence more comprehensive, and more in-depth, histheory of successful intelligence has certain times and innovation. In the further implementationof quality education today, learning from Sternberg’s theory of successful intelligence, weoptimize homework design, to improve students’ comprehensive quality. This paper starts fromthe present situation of primary school Chinese homework, analyzed the existing problems,according to the Chinese curriculum standard and the spirit of the new curriculum reform,discusses how to integrate the idea of successful intelligence in primary school Chinesehomework design, optimization design, improve the students’ Chinese accomplishment. Thethesis consists of five parts.The introduction part introduces research situation of the theory of successful intelligenceas well as the research of primary school Chinese homework design.Clarify the connotation, main content, key points and characteristics of successfulintelligence.Analysis and reflection on the status quo of Chinese homework in primary school. Thedefinition of homework, problems analysis of the primary school Chinese homework, and areflection on the problems of the result. Enlightenment on successful intelligence of primary school Chinese homework design. Thefit between the theory of successful intelligence and primary school Chinese homework design:attention individuality difference, pay attention to the training of creativity and practical ability.Exploration of primary school Chinese homework design idea under the successintelligence. Chinese homework is not only language knowledge consolidated, at the same timeit can cultivate students’ temperament, construct the student’s spiritual world and the spiritualworld. So, Chinese homework design, should be based on the intelligence development, shouldreflect the positive expectation from parents and teacher, and enrich the job evaluation methods,finally pay attention to the influence of personality factors.
