| In the1980’s, through lots of research and practice many languageteaching researchers have put forward the important influentiallinguistic teaching theory——task-based language teaching theory.Task-based teaching theory emphasizes “learning by doingâ€, payattention to the combination of learners’ language output and input,authenticity and interesting. How to teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage into practical Chinese as a L2teaching in the classroom, tocultivate students’ comprehensive ability of using language isworthwhile,and deserve to be studied. In the west, in recent years manyexperts and scholars have defined and classified tasks, such as have amore in-depth research, theory of task-based teaching summary is alreadyrelatively complete. The author, as an international Chinese languagevolunteer teacher, based on the research and practice of the task-basedteaching theory at home and abroad, and combined that into the actualteaching of foreign concrete situation, through the theoretical researchand teaching conducted the application experiment, Used classroomobservation, questionnaires of second-class, concrete is task-basedlanguage teaching Chinese as a foreign language at the classroom inMongolia detailed studies are made to the concrete application situationmore carefully.This paper reviewed and described the task-based teaching background and research significance firstly, gave a brief account of thetask-based language teaching present situation, through the literaturereview, discusses the task meaning and characteristics of task-basedlanguage teaching and designing principles. The third part of the papergave a general survey of the task-based language teaching and relatedtheory research and the designing principles and characteristics oftask-based language teaching, and introduces Wills’ three steps of taskteaching. Integrate to the teaching theory, and according to the MongolianHe Xi ge Chinese schools on comprehensive Chinese teaching, the paperdiscusses the different with He Xi ge traditional Chinese teaching modeland task-based teaching mode, emphasize the necessity of innovation inthe traditional teaching concept.
