As we all know,vocabulary teaching has always been the focus of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Whether it is a student's written expression or daily communication,the most inseparable part is the understanding and application of vocabulary.Therefore,"how to make international students better understand,master and use vocabulary" has become an urgent problem to be solved in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In addition,the Comprehensive Chinese as a Foreign Language Course is the core course for Chinese language teaching for international students.It is a comprehensive training course for students to listen,speak,read and write four basic skills.This course runs through the Chinese learning process.Based on the above reasons,we selected the teaching of vocabulary for Chinese as a research object and discussed it in depth with context theory.This paper firstly explores the background,nature and function of the contextual teaching method.Secondly,it analyzes the feasibility of using the contextual teaching method in the vocabulary teaching of the Comprehensive Chinese Course,and selects the vocabulary of the three levels of junior,middle and high.The advantages of contextual teaching method,detailed teaching design,I hope that the contextual teaching method can be more appropriately and naturally integrated into the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,to achieve our intended purpose.In order to make the research more reliable and scientific,we combed the relevant literature and learned the latest research results of the academic community,which provided a rich theoretical basis for writing this article.Secondly,we have discussed the application of contextual teaching method to the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language from many angles,which paved the way for the following.Once again,we analyzed the teaching objects,goals and principles,and clarified the meaning of the various elements in the instructional design.Finally,we select the vocabulary of the three levels of elementary,middle and high for specific teaching design,and hope to help the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
