Since the reforming and opening up of china, Chinese higher education has maderemarkable achievements and realized the historic leap of higher education reform anddevelopment. However, with the popularization of higher education in china, the quality ofteaching presents a downward trend. China’s ‘Twelfth-Year Plan’ made it clear that toimprove the quality of higher education, and further pointed out that to deep the strategy ofreinvigorating China science, education and human resources in older to boost China to be aninnovative country in the near future. Teaching quality is the core and foundation of educationquality. Improving teaching quality is the main challenge and duty in the higher educationpopularization stage. Teaching quality management is a long-term complex project, and theinfluencing factors of teaching quality management are various, complicated and interrelated.So, scientifically and accurately analyzing the main factors of affect teaching qualitymanagement and putting forward effective improvement measures are the main problems thatneed to solved urgently.The thesis based on the principle which unifies the theory research and the realityanalysis. It adopts research way which unifies the system research and the key research. Itdraws correlation domain research results and theory method from modern qualitymanagement, multivariate analysis, pedagogy and so on. It comprehensive uses the methodsof the reviews and questionnaire, to further research the status of teaching qualitymanagement and the main existing problems. The thesis points out the main factors whichaffects the teaching quality management from three respects: teaching management, theteacher and student, and attempts to propose solution of the question. The content as followed:The first part of thesis is theory. It introduces the correlation theories of teaching qualitymanagement through introducing concepts of quality, quality management and the formationrule of quality. The second part of thesis is actuality analysis. It introduces the achievementsmade by university and the problems existing in teaching quality management throughintroducing present of teaching quality management. The third part of thesis is demonstrationand analysis. It certifies relative factors of teaching quality management and points out themain factors which affect teaching quality management through analyzing academic recordsand grade points of the group who from freshman to junior to carry on multivariate statisticsanalysis and conducting a quantitative analysis of learning status. The fourth part of thesis isthe application of the methods of the modern quality management in improving teachingquality management. Depending on the analysis of the third part, it gets which factors arerelative to teaching quality management. The thesis elucidates which problem need to besolved with analyzing those relative factors.The improvement of the teaching quality management based on instance analysis, according the statistics analysis and modeling of college students’ learning achievements tofind the main factors of affecting teaching quality management and put forward theimprovement measures. All these studies will useful for college education workers.
