Research On The Role And Methods Of Ideological And Political Education In College Students Crisis Management

In recent years, with the development of the colleges and universities, the collegestudents crisis event are often faced, which threaten the lives and property of college teachersand students. Therefore, strengthening college students crisis management has become theurgent task of colleges and universities development. College students are the main body inthe college. They are closely related to the causes, and the group is most affected by the crisis.Therefore, college students crisis management is an important topic. It is the main problemhow to prevent and treat college students crisis by the methods of ideological and politicaleducation and to reduce harm that the crisis brings.The paper introduces mainly the related theories of college students crisis managementand the second chapter shows the reasons that cause college students crisis events. Collegestudents crisis management is dependent on the ideological and political education, andideological and political education is an important means of college students crisismanagement. Both are interdependent and inseparable. The ideological and politicaleducation gives full play to its forecasts, buffer, monitoring, as well as maintaining stableuniversity stability in three crisis mechanism, finds potential crisis timely, controls crisis haveoccurred effectively, and eliminates the negative impacts of the crisis. In the early warningmechanism, the crisis will be prevented through accessing to relevant information,strengthening the crisis consciousness, and combining closely with the education of legalsystem. In the crisis management mechanism, the crisis will be controlled through propaganda,improving university student’s consciousness of self adjusting, and strengthening mentalhealth education. In handling mechanism, the legacy of the crisis will be eliminated throughstrengthening college students management, giving full play of the role of counselor, andimproving college students ideological and moral qualities.On the basis of predecessors’ theories, this paper discusses the role and methods ofideological and political education in three mechanisms by using the theory of ideological andpolitical education. I tried to discuss fully the role of the ideological and political education incollege crisis management from new ideas and new perspectives to provide new ideas forcollege students crisis management work.
