Our country in the critical stage of the comprehensive construction of well-offsociety, clearly put forward the development strategy of building an innovative countryand building a powerful country of human resources, which determines the period toadapt to the needs of social development, high-level talents with innovative spirit andinnovative ability of the demand is urgent. Talent training depends on education, mainchannel of cultivating innovative talents in this era is the graduate education. Therefore,the quality of graduate education in relation to our country the quality of creative talent,which is related to China’s economic and social development of the strategic situation.In recent years, the rapid development of China’s postgraduate education,however, the developing background, the quality of graduate education has declinedtrend. How to improve the quality of postgraduate education become the currentchallenges facing the development of graduate education, has become a hot issue ofconcern to all sectors of society, which need to be solved urgently.In order to cultivate more innovative talents of high level, in order to realize thedevelopment strategy of our country, build comparatively well-off society in the round,as the national graduate students in local colleges and universities an important part ofthe education, especially the subject development of graduate education, have bearimportant historic mission. This paper mainlystudies the following contents:First, according to China’s macroeconomic policy and social background ofgraduate education, analyzes the significance of local postgraduate education qualitymanagement of the existing problems, and to the quality, graduate education, graduate education quality assurance system and local colleges and universities of educationquality concept, defines the;Second, to our country graduate education carried out by the author, and putforward the5principles of quality management for graduate students in China shouldfollow;Third, for the graduate matriculate quality, Postgraduate Tutor Team Construction,the training of graduate students, graduate curriculum management, the dissertationquality management, management system construction and other aspects of theproblem, the author of the work units in Chongqing XX University as the researchobject, based on a large number of questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews thelast, of relevant data, the data were collected, analyzed and summarized, summed upthe main problems and the reasons of the existing educational quality management ofthe graduate school;Fourth, profits from the overseas some developed countries advanced qualitymanagement theory and guarantee the postgraduate education quality managementexperience, aiming at the above mentioned problems, puts forward some rationalcountermeasures. Such as: improve recruitment management, improve the quality ofstudents; strengthen the construction of teacher team, to enhance the comprehensivestrength level; deepening the training mode reform, cultivating innovative ability; tostrengthen the system construction, strictly regulate the management etc..These suggestions to the economic and social development level of a region, andthe school-running orientation and other similar local colleges and universities, it playsa certain reference role.
