Research On Smart Home System Based On ZigBee And Embedded Server

With the rapid development of network and information technology, home information is an inevitable trend and requirement of social development. The development of comprehensive Smart Home is the procedure of family information. Smart Home is the development direction of future home, connect the residential equipment over network, networking for residential equipment. Users can monitor the residential environment through network in real time, control the residential status of the devices, it provides comfort and safety networked environment for users.The development of Smart Home technology has experienced two stages of wired and wireless, as a result of the inherent drawbacks in wiring trouble and poor scalability of the wired. Smart Home using wireless has become the inevitable trend of development. By comparing the characteristics of the networking technology, select the ZigBee as the Smart Home internal networking technology. This paper completed the design of Smart Home Monitoring system, integrating ZigBee wireless communication technology and the Web server system. To achieve remote intelligent monitoring and management applications of Housing via the Internet.This paper introduces the definition of Smart Home and its current situation at home and abroad at first, and introduces the concept of ZigBee technology and its protocol architecture. Put forward the overall design of the smart home, then introduces the hardware and software development for wireless sensor. ZigBee sensor nodes use TI’s SoC chip CC2530, which integrated microprocessor and RF transceiver chips, with less peripheral circuit can be achieved signal to send and receive function, Software development is based on the Z-Stack protocol stack. Then present the structure of the ZigBee gateway server, embedded Web server using B/S structure and modular design, ported the embedded Linux system and embedded Boa server, use HTML and CGI technology to design the interface, Users can get status information for each node in Smart Home by accessing the Web server through the browser. The system can remote monitor the objects of house environment in the experiment. It can be used in Fire protection system, industrial control and other fields, and has good practical value.
