The research backgrounds, purposes, significances,methods and reviews at home and abroad will be discussed.Chapter Two: a review of the urban agriculture. With the emergence of the conceptof the urban agriculture, this thesis will emphatically introduce the implication,characteristics, types and functions of the urban agriculture.Chapter Three: with the analysis of its current situation, major issues of the urbanagriculture in Chongqing are raised now. Drawing on the experience of the urbanagriculture in advanced areas at home and abroad, strategies for further developing theurban agriculture in Chongqing will be mentioned. To develop the urban agriculture inChongqing, the key is to establish the modern urban agriculture park.Chapter Four: taking Jiyue modern agriculture park for example, this thesissystematically and objectively analyzes the construction of the urban agriculture inChongqing. It principally discusses the industrial planning, running characteristics andthe settlement of residents of the urban agriculture park. And it’s clear that the construction of the urban agriculture park in Chongqing should be supported andinstructed by governments at all levels.Chapter Five: Based on the empirical analysis, some measures are offered tostimulate the construction of the urban agriculture park in Chongqing.
