Research Of Tourism Planning Model In Urban Fringe

With the rapid development of urbanization and expansion of urban population,people’s living level is increasing gradually. However, the rapid development also bringspeople the tense living pace and over pressure which contribute to the demands ofjourney. On the other hand, due to the limitation of leisure time and exhausted feelingbrought by long-distance travel, the tourism in urban fringe has developed rapidly recently.Fringe area as the link between urban area and countryside is not only the mixed-beltof natural ecology environment and traditional culture, but also the conflict region ofurban development and protection of traditional resources. The paper mainly researchesthe situation of investigation and application for tourism planning in urban fringe as well ashow to locate the tourism market and explore the tourism products by literature review oftourism planning. By comparing the advantages of tourism in urban fringe, this paperprovides the further challenge and opportunity. Meanwhile, characteristics and productscategories in urban fringe are summarized. Based on the former research, related planningpatterns are analyzed which achieves the desirable planning mode by combining the casestudy of tourism planning of Hefei fringe.Finally, the paper defines the development direction including adopting local tourismresources and coordinating urban ecological environment. And some measures of urbanfringe planning are proposed, which could have a sustainable significance for urban fringetourism under the strategy of harmonious development between urban area andcountryside.
