Assessment Of Urban Informatization Development Level In Tianjin And Development Suggestions

At present, the construction of urban information has been put too much emphasison all over the world. Compared with those developed countries, the construction ofurban information in china starts late, the research of actual situation of specific cityis seldom.With the reform and opening up during30years, modern informationinfrastructure in Tianjin has been further improved. At present, Tianjin is in thecritical period when it tries its best to achieve new city function location andeconomic&social development has entered a new phase.Therefore, it is necessary forus to research the present situation of informatization development in Tianjin and thenput forward relative suggestions.This research carries out the relevant assessment of the development level of cityinformation in Tianjin from05to10by social information index,and refers to theinformatization development path of international metropolis, the result of empiricalresearch shows: although Tianjin belongs to such a city whose the level ofinformatization is much higher, compared with New York, Hong Kong and so on,there is still a certain gap and needs to expand informatization construction. Thispaper is composed of five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. It mainly discusses the research backgroundand significance, domestic and international research review, research methods, andinnovation.The second chapter is the interpretation of the meaning of city informatization. Itmainly discusses the concept of informatization, nature, classification and themeaning of city informatization. The most important aspect is the definition of cityinformatization related to this research.The third chapter is the assessment of informatization development level inTianjin.Based on the Constitution Program of National Information Index announcedby the former Ministry of Information Industry and relevant departments, according toTianjin Statistical Yearbook in2011&Economic and Social Development StatisticsBulletin in Tianjin, this chapter has sorted out6categories of city informationdevelopment in Tianjin from2005to2010. The arithmetic and the weighted averagemethod have been used to make dynamic evaluation on the development level ofinformation in Tianjin, and finally the passage carries out the summary on theevaluation results.The fourth chapter is the informatization development methods of theinternational metropolis and inspiration in Tianjin. Take New York, Geneva,Singapore and Hong Kong for example, this chapter mainly discusses thedevelopment goals, mode, implementation of specific strategies and the inspiration ofdevelopment of city informatization in Tianjin.The fifth chapter is the development suggestions of city informatization in Tianjin.After refering to the development model of advanced cities and the problemsof assessment results of informatization development level in Tianjin from2005to2010，according to the important arrangements made by the State Council，theMunicipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government，this chapter discussesand establishes the prientation,goals and paths，and priority of future informatizationdevelopment in Tianjin.The epilogue of this paper: it points out the shortcomings of the research and thefuture research direction, and then prospects the future development of cityinformatization in Tianjin.
