In the21st century, the development of science and technology leads to the keen competition between enterprises. An enterprise can survive, develop, compete and prosper in its business on condition that it owns knowledge workers, who play a key role in hi-tech enterprises. Knowledge workers assemble in hi-tech enterprises. The hi-tech enterprises, therefore, are supposed to adopt incentive mechanism to attract excellent knowledge workers, motivate their enthusiasm and potential so as to achieve a steady development. Unfortunately, not all the executives of hi-tech enterprises are aware of this point. Unaware of this point, the executives of Company H failed to establish such an incentive mechanism. As a result, the enterprise suffered a great deal by the brain drain.This paper, based on the analysis of the current situation of the incentive mechanism in Company H, discovered such unfavorable factors as backward business philosophy, lack of material and spiritual incentive, difficulty in knowledge workers’ performance assessment, ignorance of knowledge workers’ career planning and lack of corporate culture for knowledge workers’ growth.In view of these unfavorable factors, this research designs a full set of improvement measures as follows:improving executives’ business philosophy, establishing perfect wage incentive mechanism, strengthening performance assessment system, improving career training, designing attractive career planning and cultivating corporate culture for knowledge workers as well as supporting measures for the implementation of the incentive mechanism of Company H. Jointly, these measures will help implement the effective incentive mechanism of Company H, change its current incentive situation of knowledge workers, and fulfill their wisdom and intelligence to the full. Only in this way can the enterprise lay a solid foundation for further development.
